GØTZ & AKIKOKENMADE

As part of GØTZ Bread Projects, Jesper has started collaborating with other artisans in the Nordic region.

This basket is designed and produced in collaboration with cabinetmakers AkikoKenMade. Akiko and Ken have their own workshop in Kokkedal, north of Copenhagen, where they produce their line of handmade woodwork.

The basket is made with the highest quality pine from the Kalmar region in Sweden. Our choice of material for this basket is made with the desire to produce a proofing and bread basket in local materials for home bakers as well as professionals.

The basket helps you both make your bread and later serve it, as illustrated in the pictures.

To use the basket, you need to use a proofing cloth between the dough or bread and the basket. An extension of this collaboration is the collaboration with weaver, textile designer, and long-time friend and colleague, Karin Carlander. Karin is certified "Masters of Linen ©" and works with the highest quality European linen. She has her workshop in Raadvad, north of Copenhagen. Karin has designed and produced a proofing cloth together with GØTZ, which fits the basket. Available in two colors on the webshop.

Note that a cloth between the basket and the dough/bread is necessary.

Textile NO. 15 is not included and can be found separately on the webshop in two different colors.

Product dimensions:

L31 x W16 x H9 cm

The preferred size of bread/dough made in this basket is 900-1200g.
