Since the opening of Sommer Canteen. Jespers has been too busy to be able to find time to host workshops. But finally it’s time for sourdough baking workshops!

About the workshops

Jesper's baking courses cater to a wide audience—both the master baker and the beginner will benefit from the content. The courses are available both online and as physical classes, both taught by Jesper himself.

GØTZ's virtual workshop is a basic course that introduces you to everything you need to know to start baking with sourdough. After completing the course, you will be able to bake with sourdough on your own, with the option to revisit Jesper's techniques at any time.

GØTZ Sourdough Masterclass is taught at Sommer Canteen Taarbæk. Here, you get the opportunity to get your hands in the dough and shape your own learning experience. With a small group of maximum 12 participants, Jesper can provide individual focus and ensure that everyone goes home with the right tools to continue baking at their own level. On the workshop we bake in both our big proffesional baking oven as well as a demo in a amateur home oven equipped with a GØTZ Baking Steel.

GØTZ Sourdough Masterclass

GØTZ Masterclass in sourdough bread is an exclusive, hands-on course with Jesper as the instructor. In this course, you will learn how to prepare sourdough and bake based on the key principles Jesper has acquired throughout his career. You will be introduced to techniques and recipes for a variety of baked goods.

Prior to the course, Jesper will ask you questions about your baking experience and your expectations for the day. This allows Jesper to create space for both new and experienced bakers in the course, so everyone gets the most out of the day.

When you leave the course, you will have kneaded the techniques well into your hands, but of course, you won't go home empty-handed. You will be given access to Jesper's online course and instructions, so you can always revisit Jesper's techniques when baking on your own. And of course, you will also be able to take home a lot of delicious baked goods from the day.

The course will consist of a maximum of 6 participants, as Jesper wants to ensure the opportunity for personal sparring and attention. A course takes 5 hours, with additional preparation time at home.

 

GØTZ x AURION Online Workshop

In the Online Workshop, Jesper has gathered everything you need to know to start baking with sourdough. When you have completed the course, you will be able to bake fantastic baked goods entirely on your own. And the best part - you probably already have everything you need to start baking right away. Jesper's online baking course focuses on teaching you to bake with sourdough through more than 40 lessons with how-to videos, recipes for sourdough and various baked goods, following a structured baking process you can follow at your own pace.

The virtual sourdough baking course was developed during the first COVID-19 lockdown to give beginners as well as experienced bakers the best conditions for baking delicious sourdough bread and sourdough rolls. Today, the online videos are also used in connection with Jesper's Masterclass program.
